I really liked the work done and the result. It's easy, simply phenomenal 👏🏽✨
The only major problem is the random charges, which leave a lot to be desired... Maintenance appointments are more expensive than the first time, and each appointment has a different price. It seems like the stylist chooses what to charge each client, without having a prior guideline (and that's not right!!! It's almost disrespectful to the client). This issue is frustrating because if the first time, which is on the entire head, is already expensive, we plan believing that maintenance will be cheaper, but instead, they are more expensive and without prior notice of the amount they will want to charge. Once again, there is no criteria or basis for pricing... Although I loved the work and the result, it's not financially viable 😕🤝🏽

Yesterday, I went to the salon for the first time to get an afro perm. Since I've been doing the procedure for two years, the professional waived a strand test. As a result, my hair became extremely sensitive, didn't hold up, and ended up with a very short cut. To this day, I still don't fully understand my reaction, or rather, the lack thereof. I think I was in shock because I simply didn't argue with the professional, and he certainly didn't with me. We feigned dementia. My hair simply didn't hold up, and we're going to cut the remaining sensitized part (some strands had already broken off during the procedure).
Only at home, this morning, did I wake up, thinking, and realize what really happened. Reflecting, I'm trying to pinpoint where the error occurred. The professional's, who, unfamiliar with hair, was somewhat negligent in not performing the test and/or applying the product, leaving it to act unattended for its intended duration? (That way hairdressers do it, checking minute by minute to see if the hair is sensitized by the product, if it's becoming elastic, you know?) Or mine? Because I'm somewhat familiar with the procedure, having done it for so many years, I didn't interfere and demand the test.
But there's no point in crying over lost hair. Let's make up for lost hair and start over. After all, life goes on, and it has to.

I called to find out more about the permanent, I was very poorly attended to because I asked for the name of the person speaking to me, please be polite.
